Claremont College Student Housing Units

This is a great example of mid-century concrete masonry work by Criley & McDowell Architects. Stock units have been used in varying patterns of voids and solids at exterior screen walls. Photo by Julius Shulman.

Sam Maloof

I was commissioned a few years back by the University of La Verne to shoot some photographs of the Maloof Residence and design an invite for an event they called "An evening with Herb and Kay Hafif". As a kid I lived across the street from this amazing house, I spent some time with his grandson, skateboarding and have memories of the inside, like the brick flooring and cool door handles. Sam Maloof is one of my all time favorite furniture designers.
